Considering of studying in Italy?
Have a look through the eyes of A senior student

''Studying in a foreign country may be challenging.
Where to stay, how to live away from your home and how to manage studies and personal life are the most common problems faced by students.
Going to Italy was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
It’s a country where you feel safe and people are warm and welcome you, due to their culture.
They see you as one of them, they are very helpful even if they don’t speak English
Although, I must underline that in order to succeed, You need to be determined and able to overcome most of the difficulties, not only in university but also in life. This will be an easy task with the correct guidance .
It is a country where rents are expensive because people get paid a lot and not because the landlord wants to rip you off. If you rent an apartment in a good area (not the most expensive) you’ll pay on average from 1000 to 1300 EUR. Furthermore, you need money to buy food and things for the house. I would say, depending on the city you live in and the lifestyle you follow, you need 600 EUR. Just to give an example, a cappuccino on average costs 1.5 EUR but you could certainly find one with 5 EUR! I would say that with 2000 EUR in total you’ll be able to make it through
Another problem faced by students, including me, is the language.
There is no other way, you need to learn Italian. People may know English but they won’t speak! This might seem really hard to overcome but trust me, it’s super easy. During the first week of school you’ll meet a lot of people and you’ll start hanging out. At some point, you’ll probably stop worrying about nonsense and you won’t even want to go back to Greece. Yes, you might miss you parents, dog, cat or whatever but it won’t matter because you’ll have your life there. Take a piece of advice, live your life to its fullest potential and enjoy every moment. University is not forever so make sure to meet a lot of people, learn and most important to have a great time and a lot of memories.
